Kansas City International Airport (originally Mid-Continent International Airport) is a public airport 15 miles (24 km) northwest of downtown Kansas City, in Platte County, Missouri.〔, effective October 25, 2007.〕 In 2014, 10.2 million passengers used the airport. It has consistently ranked in the top-five airports in the North America Airport Satisfaction Study by J. D. Power and Associates.
